Back in 1993, three young creatives – Christian Schmidt, André Boetker and Klaus-Peter Jurk – founded the ZENO group in Bremen. After almost two decades of success as an OEM and brand manufacturer, ZENO became zenolicht.de in 2010. Christian Schmidt is now taking the zenolicht.de brand forward. Together with a team of designers, craftsmen and business associates, zenolicht.de aims to meet the future with a host of creative ideas. Besides the well-established portfolio of own creations, the core competencies of zenolicht.de will be focused on the OEM and project business.
zenolicht.de takes its cues from contemporary design but also pays homage to the clear geometry of the Bauhaus school, which had such a decisive impact on 20th century design. Ideas for new forms arise from imaginative thoughts, technical exploration, and the attentive observation of people interacting with their surroundings.
